Brewing: Negra Cerveza

Getting back on the home brew bandwagon. After a successful IPA this spring, it’s time to try it again with a Mexican style dark beer. I’m sticking with the pre-fab kits from The Beer Nut until I can successfully do a couple more. Then it’ll be on to my own recipes again.

Here’s the ingredient list:

  • 1 Bag ‘Specialty Grains’
  • 1 lb Rice Syrup Solids
  • 1 lb Muntons Dry Malt
  • 3.3 lbs Coopers Light Malt Extract
  • 1 oz German Perle Hop Pellets
  • White Labs German Ale / Kölsch Yeast
