Artique
Kamas, Utah is a quaint little town at the foothills of the Uinta Mountains. One of the fun new additions is Artique, an eclectic little art gallery on the north end of Main Street. The gallery features a collection of around 15-20 different local artists with a wide variety of work. What's especially nice about the gallery is the wide range of price points. This isn't like walking into a Park City gallery. In fact, as a cooperative, you're likely to meet one of the many artists working the gallery that day. Work in the gallery ranges from fabric art to photography to metal work and more - including local pickles for a change of pace. It's a fun place and worth a weekend drive or a visit on the first Friday evening of each month for the featured artist social.
