What’s the female version of Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde?
Female versions of Mr. Hyde. They live among us, and we love them. I know young educated women (maybe with PHDs) in their 20ties and 30ties, who partied through college, in that free anything goes college/university atmosphere, that are now alcoholics. They function in life somewhat, but either drink everyday, or binge drink 2 or 3 times a week and turn into Ms. Hydes. They go from respectable, kind, animal loving, vegetarian, leftist leaning ladies to become rash, uncontrollable, sloppy, rude, demanding, scene disturbing pigs. I wish I knew why this is becoming so prevalent. I blame the belief, that sending kids straight out of high school to university/college is a must to get a good job… but in reality the majority just want to party. There are very few restrictions regarding drugs or alcohol at higher schools of learning. Most of the parents pay for the classes but we are not allowed to see the grades. A word to the wise, transition your children from high school to junior college, then if they do well, then help them transfer to major money gobbling universities. There is a movement growing in the USA that recognizes this university/college problem and its growing. There are no guarantees that your son or daughter will get a job once they graduate, if they graduate at all, from college. How about this topic: are our respected universities and colleges turning our brightest hopes for the future into stark raving mad alcoholics and drug abusers?
Solid insight Steve.
