Well you could be right there. Now that I use Photoshop a lot less, Sketch and Illustrator are my biggest GPU needs.
I know a lot of people are bummed about that limit. I’m sure that will change for the better over the next year or so
I had that thought… but I’m not sure the Mini has the GPU power I’d need. It would be a stopgap move at best. But certainly something to consider.
New OS aside, the new Air looks like it would be a pretty solid upgrade for you. I’m hoping I can hold out for an Apple silicon iMac.
Nervous that the new OS will make this machine struggle even more than it currently does.
Has anyone installed macOS Big Sur on a 2014 or older iMac?
