If you’re developing static sites I can see it might be helpful. Developing for WordPress though, it feels like an extra step.

I went back to the parent theme because developing the child the child theme suddenly felt very wrong.
Yeah that child theme contained 80% of the code for a site so Infusion is where I start now.
